U2-2

We are U2-2, formerly the original Achtung Baby. We were formed by current members, way back in 1993 and during the 90's, we became the most successful U2 tribute band in the world; with us even managing to play alongside U2 at Feyenoord Stadium in 1997. (even U2's security were confused when they accidently led U2-2 into their own changing rooms! )We've played over a 1000 shows and we've been featured on many TV & radio stations, with some of our sessions being broadcast worldwide.

After reforming in 2008, we've been busy gigging in Britain & Ireland and we've just signed a three year contract, to perform in theatres across the country. Last year alone, we were chosen by Blackberry to help promote their latest cell-phone and we also performed in Sheffield's Meadowhall, as part of the 360/U2 tour experience, where many people thought we were the real thing, as we were filmed by both the BBC & ITV.

We are the very best in look-a-like/sound-a-like and some of our past venues include: Sheffield Arena, Don Valley Stadium and Meadowhall, London Venue, Forum and Uni, Belfast Empire Hall, Dublin Olympia theatre, Ormand Centre and O2 Arena, Dudley Robin 1&2 and JB's, Crewe Limelight, Galway Quays, Limerick Dolans, Cork Old Oak, Sligo main hall, Belfast Uni, Hull Uni, Northampton Uni, Folkstone's Lee Cliff Halls, Glasgow King Tut's, Inverness Club, Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms, Norwich The Oval, Scunthorpe Baths, Manchester Palace   etc.
