DJ Steve
Steve has been a professional DJ for over 10 years; he has worked in many top venues and clubs for some of London’s leading event managers, club promoters and wedding planners.
His first residency in 2000 was at the Millennium Club in Covent Gardens where he played a mixture of 70s and 80s disco, club classics and chart sounds. During his time there Steve was approached by one of London’s largest ball organisers to DJ for their club and corporate market clients. This led to a weekly Saturday night residency at one of London’s largest nightclubs - Sound (Leicester Square). Playing in the main club and then the ‘Blue room’ Steve helped establish the club as one of Central London’s best party venues catering for mainstream pop music.
Steve has become a highly respected DJ that is in demand; he now works with key party planners for some of the biggest corporate names in the business including John Lewis Group, River Island, Mercedes Benz, and in prestigious venues such as Pacha, Hanover Grand, Hampton Court Palace, Celtic Manor and The Royal Courts of Justice to name a few. He has played alongside radio personalities like Edith Bowman, Annie Mac and Trevor Nelson, as well as home-grown talent such Pendulum and Beverly Knight.
From a music perspective, Steve started his career playing cheesy pop and party faves to hard-to-please small dance floors and has progressed through all genres of music from 70’s disco, 80s, commercial pop and dance to the delights of funk, Motown soul, club classics and modern chart sounds. Steve loves music and always aims to please the crowd; his knowledge of music and blend of mixing allows him to generate a ntastic atmosphere to ensure people keep dancing all night long.
